Sinaran.
Sinaran is Malay for "ray of light." It is the seminary's own publication: news, reflection, and the ordinary life of the house, written by the community it serves.
A joyful community of disciples, rooted in Christ.
This year's theme, and what carries it.
Each edition of Sinaran is built around a theme the house is living that year. For 2026, it is a joyful community of disciples, rooted in Christ: not a slogan chosen for the cover, but the shape of the year it describes.
Everything inside it comes from the community itself. This edition opens with His Eminence Cardinal Sebastian Francis, Bishop of Penang and the seminary's president, followed by a word from the in-house formators, Rev. Fr. Ryan, Rev. Fr. Joachim, and Rev. Fr. Cyril. Nothing in Sinaran is written about the seminary from the outside.

If the question keeps returning, it is worth answering.
Speak to the vocation director of your diocese, or write to the seminary. There is no obligation in asking.
